At Relentless K9, we are balanced trainers and implement all four quadrants of operating conditioning, often using training tools such as slip leads, prong collars, and e-collars in our training programs. As balanced trainers, we believe it is imperative to be as positive as possible while still setting boundaries with our canine companions. We recognize that not all training tools are created equal, and when used inappropriately, they can damage the training experience as a whole for both our canines and our relationships with them. Training tools often mimic the natural correction that dogs give each other. When used appropriately, they can help bridge the gap in communication, allowing us to move forward with training in a less stressful and more precise manner. Therefore, we are dedicated to only using reputable brands, educating our clients on proper use and techniques, and continuing our overall education when using them.
